One Trail, Two Views
Most maps only show the trail from a bird's-eye view.
That gives a great overview of how things fit together, but not what you'll feel as you hike it.
That's why this map also includes a second view - a side profile that shows the trail from a hiker's perspective, emphasizing the terrain.

That sounds a lot better when you don't realize half of it is uphill.
Contour lines can help – but they’re hard to interpret at a glance. A gentle climb and a punishing ascent can look surprisingly similar.
That's why the map highlights and labels every significant hill, showing its steepness, length and direction.
A quick look tells you where level ground ends and the heavy breathing begins.

Wandering through the forest, it's easy to lose your bearings.
To help, this map highlights key Landmarks along the trail – distinctive spots like creeks, campsites and side trails.
Check them off as you pass them, and you'll always know exactly where you are.
